SINCE 1975, ARLINGTONIANS MEETING EMERGENCY NEEDS HAS PROVIDED ONE-TIME, SAME-DAY, EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE TO ARLINGTON RESIDENTS.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

An Arlington resident facing financial difficulties due to housing expenses, medical needs, or utility bills, contacts a social worker at a qualifying agency. The social worker, after determining the eligibility of the request, contacts one of our daily volunteers who arranges to have a check available to pick up later on the same day.

Funding for AMEN comes primarily from donations.
